Case Study: Mauritius International Outsourcing Forum 2009 Case Study
In October 2009 Arena International produced the highly successful Mauritius International Outsourcing Forum (MIOF) on behalf of the Board of Investment Mauritius. MIOF was a customised event which provided an opportunity for companies to evaluate Mauritius as an off shoring/outsourcing destination. The principal function of MIOF was to enable professionals within the industry to share knowledge, network and develop new partnerships. Delegates were given the opportunity to meet the Mauritius Investment Board to evaluate the prospects of setting up new captives/development centers/disaster management centers, and also the local ITES/BPO providers to discuss the possibility of outsourcing to them.
The Event
The principal function of MIOF 2009 was to bring buyers and sellers together at director level, offering the opportunity to share knowledge, network and develop new business partnerships. Delegates pre-selected whom they wished to meet during face-to-face meetings and explored new business opportunities during the social and networking functions that took place throughout the forum.
Delegates also took part in a number of highly interactive seminar, panel and round-table discussions, chaired by leading industry figures.
