Tesco Bank

Tesco Personal Finance was founded in 1997 as a joint venture between Tesco and Royal Bank of Scotland. In 2008, Tesco took full control of the business renaming it Tesco Bank. Tesco Bank sells financial products and services through multiple channels including stores, by telephone and online. While the bulk of Tesco Bank's activities are focused in the UK, it also supports Tesco in delivering Financial Services products with partner banks in other countries in which Tesco has a presence. These include Ireland, Thailand, Poland and Malaysia.

Tesco Bank has over 2500 members of staff based in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle and around 6.5 million customer accounts.
