Carol Ann Schaffer
Project Data Manager, Hoffmann La Roche
Carol is currently a Project Data Manager at Hoffmann-La Roche, leading the data management team in the Virology Disease Therapeutic area. She has been in the pharmaceutical business for over 20 years, nine of them were as a research scientist and the last 10+ have been in clinical data management. In addition to her global project experience, Carol has participated in the outsourcing governance committees at Roche as well as led the Clinical Data Management strategic outsourcing team. Carol holds both bachelor and masters degrees in Biology from William Paterson University. Carol has been happily married for 20 years with 2 boys: 16 and 13 (yes, the teen years are upon her!)
