Alessi is a family business which was established in 1921 in Omegna, Northern Italy. It started as a workshop manufacturing brass and German silver sheets. Now, almost a century-old Alessi has evolved into being one of the foremost "Italian Design Factories", marrying the ideas of world-class design and technology to several product ranges. Alessi is a global company, yet has deep roots in the cultural traditions of its home. The name- Alessi- has become a byword for excellent design and machine-aided handicraft.
The shortlist will be announced at the end of August.
Entries are now open for EH Awards 2016!
The evening started with a drinks reception in the Palace Suite where ‘Best Hotel Bar’ sponsor Erdinger Weissbier welcomed everyone with their newest drink the Pikantus. The German beer brewer had their own mobile bar in the drinks reception and the Royal Garden Hotel served the wines and bubbles. All attendees looked fabulous, the atmosphere was great from the start. All shortlisted hotels were super excited for the night and sponsors, partners and judges mingled the night away.
