Dr. Philippe Verplancke – Speaker

Dr. Philippe Verplancke graduated as an electrical engineer from the University of Ghent in Belgium. He earned a PhD at the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics in Munich, Germany. After working as a senior management consultant at McKinsey & Company, Inc., he became an entrepreneur in life science software. In 2002, he founded XClinical with the vision of creating a truly user-friendly EDC system based on CDISC standards.
