Stephane Malec, Head of Brand Protection -Toyota

Stephane has worked in brand protection for 8 years.  He is responsible for the European and Eastern European markets and their fight against counterfeit goods, grey import and signage infringement, online as well as in the field.  He has developed a holistic brand protection and anti-piracy strategy for his regions.  Stephane has tackled more than 2500 cases with a success rate of 90% in the field. His main achievement is the elimination of Toyota counterfeit goods in Turkey, in addition he has also drastically reduces the availability and counterfeit of grey import in Kazakhstan, which doubled Toyota’s the sales in the country. Stephane is a regular speaker at Brand Protection events and will help us develop the GBPS 2018 agenda.
