What’s new for 2018?

Renewable Energy
Global investment in renewable energy and its generating capacity, keeps rising year on year. In 2015 we saw a new record investment of $285.9 billion, which enabled renewables to make up 53.6% of the gigawatt capacity of all technologies installed. At the same time, energy generation costs continue to fall, particularly in photovoltaics, meaning the opportunities for renewable energy are not slowing down.

Given the growth of the renewables market, our 2018 programme will pioneer a renewable energy stream, to provide attendees with insight and knowledge of the opportunities in this burgeoning market.

Energy Storage
The rapid growth of solar and wind energy has led to rising interest in battery storage. It is vital to consider the key role storage presents as a way to balance fluctuating renewable electricity generation in Europe and across the globe. Together with leading experts in the field we will explore new technologies and strategies for energy storage as part of our renewable streams.

Join us in Budapest to identify how to successfully master the current transition period and harness new the opportunities in the renewable sector whilst maintaining coal and gas generation.
