Helpful Hints when submitting entries When submitting entries the Jury have offered the following advice which they believe will help practices show off not only their projects in the best possible light but also give them the best chance of being shortlisted: Guidance on Picture submissions Submit where possible at least 6, but no more than 10, images, - this should include a cross section of a building project which is always helpful to explain the basic building form. This can include preliminary sketches, alternative preliminary schemes, and excerpts from working drawings. Excessive Computer generated designed images are NOT recommended and often damage the chances of an entrant. Please limit the use of these to a maximum of two per entry. We do however recommend architectural drawings and plans of the building and its surrounding areas. Ariel views would be useful but ultimately a good site plan would be just as acceptable. Guidance on Text Write up Submit where possible details of project in particular cost and square footage. Information on context of the building and any precedents set by the design |
