OCT New England will welcome senior level professionals working in operations and outsourcing of clinical trials from Boston and the surrounding area. The conference itself will appeal to an audience of large pharma companies, biotechs, start-ups, medical device companies and service providers. With speakers and panel discussions already confirmed this event looks set to be bigger and better than ever, so don’t miss your chance to attend.

Ken Getz, Director and Associate Professor, Tufts Center for the Study of Drug Development will be giving a presentation on the current CRO landscape and how it is changing. We are also excited to welcome CISCRP will be giving a presentation on their international survey from the general public, as well as prospective, current and past clinical trial participants.

This year’s panel discussion will be centred around patients with the main discussion focusing on patient recruitment. Delegates will have the opportunity to hear from current and past patients on their experience and thought on patient recruitment and will be able to find out where there is opportunity to increase enrolment.

Two case studies have also been confirmed: one from Alexion Pharmaceuticals who will be looking at risk and contingency management in clinical trials. The second is from Haemonetics who will be going into their hybrid model for outsourcing.
