KATRIN HERRLING
CEO, FundingXChange

Katrin co-founded FUNDING XCHANGE (FXE) setting out to use access to new live data sources and advanced analytics to disrupt the inefficient SME funding space by creating the first UK platform for businesses to easily access bank and non-bank funding solutions in one place. FXE launched in 2016, announced an exclusive partnership with MoneySuperMarket and was designated as an official finance referral platform by the British Government. Today, FXE is working with nine UK banks and 70+ lenders to help customers access SME funding solutions, delivering services to the UK’s largest price comparison websites and building white-labelled, custom marketplaces that are integrated into banks’ SME banking proposition. THOMAS NOKIN
CEO, BASIKON

Thomas has more than 20 years of experience in financing software development. He is a graduate from the Ecole Polytechnique in France. After years trying to digitalize financing systems built for back-office operations Thomas realized there is a more efficient way. Digital is not an add-on, digital must be the starting point and the main focus. It is not about patching legacy to add APIs – it is about being API first, digital first, phone first, it is about being light and lean, it is about getting rid of all that technical debt and overdesign that has clogged software. Tomorrow’s winners are those who have understood the depth of the current revolution and accepted it. Founding Basikon was the obvious next step.
