9th Annual Leading Global Semiconductor Forum March 7th-9th, 2012 – Shanghai
Now entering into its ninth year, the Global Semiconductor Forum (GSF) has established itself as the industry’s key invitation-only, interpersonal event. Senior decision makers from the world’s leading chip and photovoltaic manufacturers are set to assemble once again in March 2012 in Shanghai for GSF 2012.
In the wake of recent economic upheaval, will 2012 be a year that sees semiconductor manufacturers push for a return to normality and stability or should industry players set their sights higher? What lessons have been learnt from the global financial crisis and what does this mean for the electronics industry of today and tomorrow? The need for innovation amongst the leading semiconductor companies is now greater than ever before and, with the market continuing to change at a staggering pace, has flexibility ever been more important?
About GSF
Our unique networking format will encourage direct communication between manufacturers and cutting edge solution providers at the forefront of technology. For the first time in 2012, the programme will also feature an exclusive solar stream, focusing on issues relating to the ambitious expansion plans set by PV companies. In addition, our 2012 agenda will assess today’s booming LED industry and pinpoint the crucial business strategies for future development.
After a successful 2011 forum, we will be returning to Shanghai, where an exclusive line up of top level speakers will present on the very latest challenges facing the industry, including:
- The successful and sustainable implementation of a post recovery strategy: identifying the fundamental market changes in the semiconductor industry
- Uncovering the growth potential of the LED market: maximising your exposure to growth in the industry
- An investigation into the patterns of PV market growth and their implications for manufacturers
The Global Semiconductor Forum will be co-located with the Global Electronics Forum (GEF), which will feature representation from Global Heads of Technology, Design, R&D and Procurement from leading end-user manufacturers, completing the entire semiconductor supply chain.
