Panikos Christofi is the Associate Vice President of Customer Success at Saama, where he focuses on delivering AI enabled products and solutions for clinical trials. In the clinical trial space since 2009, Panikos is well versed in the industry, as well as what his customers need. Panikos seeks to act as an ambassador to multiple disciplines, combining Clinical, Business, and Technical expertise within the umbrella of Clinical Trials.
Panikos started his career as a Clinical Database developer combining a self-taught passion in Informatics with an educational background in Human Genetics. He then transitioned to business analysis for a large CRO in a role focusing on clinical integrations and later on technical consultancy, where he developed an interest in Clinical Data Standardization and how technology can support clinical and operational roles. Additionally, he has held product management roles throughout the industry, prior to joining Saama.
Panikos is knowledgeable on many subjects including applying AI, analytics and data warehousing approaches to clinical systems. Panikos is a strong advocate for data standardization and highly supports efforts such as DDF, CDISC USDM, CDISC 360i.
