She has conducted clinical trials evaluating the functionality of probiotic and postbiotic materials, and she currently manages multiple clinical trials. Kato now works at the Functional Foods Research Institute, where she is passionately engaged in clinical research that contributes to the domestic and international development of bacterial materials.

Hasegawa is a researcher at Morinaga Milk’s Food Function Research Institute who specializes in evaluating the functionality of probiotics.
