Why Attend?

As pharmaceutical products progress from formulation development to commercial manufacturing, maintaining product performance, processability, and quality becomes increasingly critical. Rheology provides a powerful framework for understanding how materials behave under real-world processing conditions, helping teams make informed decisions throughout development, scale-up, technology transfer, and manufacturing.

In this webinar, we will explore how rheological characterization can be used to support pharmaceutical workflows from early formulation development through commercial production. Dr. Andre Braun
International Product Manager Rheometry, Anton Paar

Dr. Andre Braun holds a degree in Physics and a doctorate from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich), where his research focused on the rheology of complex biopolymer systems. Following his PhD, he joined the Technical University of Munich as a Senior Lecturer at the Chair of Process Systems Engineering, teaching rheology, process engineering, and numerical simulation while leading the rheology research group.

Since joining Anton Paar in 2016, Dr. Braun has held international roles in rheology product management and application development. As International Product Manager for Rheometry, he supports pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and other regulated industries in the application of rheological methods for formulation development, process optimization, quality control, and regulatory compliance.

Key Account Manager Pharma, Anton Paar

Dr. Abigail Casey holds a degree in Chemical and Life Science Engineering and serves as the Key Account Manager for Pharmaceutical Markets at Anton Paar USA, where she supports strategic pharmaceutical accounts through market development, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Prior to joining Anton Paar, she held leadership roles in external manufacturing, applied technology, and product development, supporting projects from early-stage research through commercialization and global supply chain execution.

Dr. Casey has experience across R&D, formulation development, clinical support, technology transfer, manufacturing scale-up, and contract manufacturing management. Her background provides a unique perspective on how analytical characterization tools support pharmaceutical workflows from discovery through commercial production.
