Alexandra Petre
CEO, Deep Sky

Alex is the CEO of Deep Sky, where she leads the deployment of breakthrough carbon removal technologies across a growing portfolio of commercial sites. She oversees all aspects of engineering, procurement, construction, and operations, working end-to-end — from facility design and cost optimization to full-scale execution. Under her leadership, Deep Sky’s teams collaborate across financing, sales, power, and storage to accelerate the company’s climate impact. Previously, Alex was COO at Bird, advancing micromobility across North America. She has also held roles at BlackRock in financial markets, at Accenture as an energy consultant, and in public service at the Treasury Board and the Embassy of Canada.

Clarice Brambilla

Prior to joining eStruxture, Strahan was the Senior Vice President of Product & Strategy at Q9, a pan-Canadian data center provider that was recently fully acquired by Bell Canada. Before Q9, Strahan was the Vice President of Marketing & Product Development for Scalar Decisions. Strahan has also held senior leadership positions in the Hosting & Cloud Computing practice of Bell Canada, as well as management consulting and hands-on IT services delivery roles.

A respected cloud & IT infrastructure expert, Strahan has written several articles on Cloud Computing and spoken frequently at vendor and analyst conferences, including CICA Audit Conference, ITAC in Ottawa, DCIE in Montreal, L’Expert in Toronto, IDC Conference, ISAAC, and IT Canada. Strahan is also a former member of the Board of Directors for the Toronto Public Library, North America’s largest Public Library system.

Meghan Butler is the Director, Investment Attraction, Energy for Invest Alberta. She is a seasoned professional recognized for her ability to connect people, ideas, and opportunities in the energy sector. She identifies and cultivates new business opportunities across established and emerging markets, building relationships with industry leaders and influencers. Known as both a leader and connector, she is passionate about fostering networks that bring together decision-makers from diverse industries.

Meghan began her career in process engineering, supporting refinery and in-situ oil sands operations, before pivoting to project and business development. Over nearly a decade, she worked on projects ranging from mid-sized commercial undertakings to billion-dollar initiatives, developing strong expertise in technical operations and commercial strategy. She later expanded her focus into hydrogen and energy transition, gaining hands-on experience in account management and business optimization. Her combined technical knowledge and commercial acumen give her a unique perspective on the evolving energy landscape.

Outside of work, Meghan is an active and competitive individual.  A former Canadian WKA Women’s Muay Thai Champion, she also brings the same drive and discipline from sport into her professional life. At home, she enjoys time with her senior Maltese, Taco.
