Luke is an experienced risk professional and qualified actuary. He started his career in banking in South Africa, before moving to the UK to join an emerging challenger bank. More recently, Luke has helped Revolut build its global credit products, launching retail products across Europe, Australia and the US. He is currently the Founding Chief Risk Officer at topi, a B2B fintech building the payment platforms of tomorrow.

A young veteran in the online fraud prevention space, Daniel is a former professional gamer who has driven sales and marketing efforts for a large Microsoft ISV before becoming a key player in SEON's commercial success. Joining the company as its 20th employee, Daniel now serves as Strategic Director and works with high growth, high complexity businesses to ensure fraud never becomes a hindrance to their success.

Daniel has been instrumental in SEON's expansion efforts in EMEA, APAC and the Americas, working closely with industry leaders such as Revolut and Wise. With his contributions, the company has experienced significant growth, tripling its annual recurring revenue and expanding its headcount 4x.

Kike Fernández
International Business Manager, Iberinform

Kike Fernández, 48,  has been involved in the business information industry for almost 15 years while working at Iberinform Internacional, and Atradius Subsidiary. While being focused on international markets he has been also in close contact with SMEs in Spain and Portugal. This allows him to get first-hand knowledge of the overall needs of these companies, financing is one of them.

Previously, Kike worked for a family-owned SME and has had direct involvement with other SMEs across EMEA, thus, strengthening his knowledge on the particular circumstances of these companies.

Moreover, Kike is a Director on the Board of Directors of the Federation of Business Information Services giving him a great overview of issues affecting financing on a global scale. Academically he has a Post Graduate Degree in Management from IESE Business School and an MBA Degree from San Telmo Business School to complement his Major in Law.

Waldemar Faltenberg
Regional Manager-DACH, Provenir

Waldemar Faltenberg has been responsible for market expansion in the DACH+ region for Provenir since last year. As a trained cooperative banker, he started his career at a local bank and was able to gain experience in the retail banking, mortgage lending, and corporate banking business during the almost 9 years he worked there. After a stint at Coface in corporate client sales, he returned to the cooperative financial network. At first, he was more operationally active at the former VR Leasing AG and after the reorganization and re-branding to VR Smart Finanz AG, he was responsible for the organization and management of 25 Volksbanks. Here he supported the banks at the strategic level in the area of SME financing and in the "make or buy" decision. In 2021, he moved to BFS finance Gmbh, part of Arvato Financial Solutions (now Riverty), where he worked on the cinfoni project. The idea of cinfoni was a platform to simplify the KYC process for corporates and Tier 1-2 banks with a networking mindset. Waldemar Faltenberg brings over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry in various fields. Professional development is very important to him. Thus, in addition to his professional activities, he completed a Bachelor's degree after his apprenticeship, which he graduated from Steinbeis University Berlin in 2010. In 2019, he started an Executive MBA at the Spanish IESE Business School, which he completed in 2021. Here he was able to expand his know-how in the area of entrepreneurship, innovation and digital transformation in a very practical way and also in various projects. In his private life, the father of three girls is active as the chairman of the board for the non-profit organisation "Leben ist mehr e.V." (Life is more), which is currently setting up a training workshop in a children's home with a primary and secondary school in Kenya.
