Following on from a fantastic meeting Outsourcing in Clinical Trials will be returning to Raleigh for its 11th year in 2022!

The 2021 online edition welcomed pharmaceutical companies across the Research Triangle Park who got together on our virtual platform to share knowledge and issues regarding clinical trial supplies, both with regards to operational and technological challenges.

Now, our dedicated and focused in-person event which brings together over 100 clinical operations executives is the perfect setting for showcasing what steps industry is taking to improve clinical supplies for patients and which operational challenges are currently causing headaches for trial sponsors. Throughout the two days, delegates will enjoy a dynamic programme of case-study presentations, interactive panel discussions and networking breaks which enables the audience to discover practical takeaways and local knowledge sharing.

The conference has an incredible speaker line-up this year with presidents and directors of regional biopharma organisations and tech innovators. Along with a varied agenda with topics suitable for all size companies. Key topics to be presented and discussed include exploring the shift to technological advancements including innovative trends such as: exploring advanced genomic technology, decentralized trials, remote monitoring and blockchain. Along with current trends such as diversity, equality, & inclusion and health literacy, patient centricity and recruitment, regulatory standpoints and more.

Whilst also taking away practical skills to increase the effectiveness of the trial for example effective techniques to accelerate team relations and optimize trial success and methods when overcoming the wide industry challenge of patient onboarding and recruitment.

Covid 19 Update for OCT Southeast 2022:

Your health and safety comes first, which is why we are strictly adhering to the latest guidance from the World Health Organization, to ensure measures that will safeguard our guests, the industry, and the larger community as a whole. We can do this together. Here’s how we are making OCT Southeast a COVID-safe event in 2022: Testing In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, your health and safety comes first. It’s mandatory to supply a negative COVID-19 Test (PCR or Antigen) at the time of registration (either a photo or the test itself). The test must not be older than 24 hours of entering the event. To miss any queues at registration, and if you have access to a Rapid Test, we advise doing this before you arrive. We will have rapid testing available onsite, should you require. Masks Masks will be available onsite. Meal times Lunches and other refreshments will be served as “grab and go” Badge scanning Exchange of contact information with exhibitors will be contactless. Contactless agendas will also be available via QR codes placed around the event Cleaning Enhanced deep cleaning and disinfection before, during and after event for ongoing sanitisation especially in/on high contact areas and fixtures. Hygiene Hand washing and sanitisation are easier and more accessible than ever at our events. You’ll find frequent sanitisation stations for disinfection and peace of mind. Space Seating will be spread out in the session rooms, exhibition and other areas of the event Vaccination We strongly ask for all participating attendees to be fully vaccinated. However, with the rise of the Omicron variant and the new requirement for all attendees to test negative before entering, vaccination is not mandatory at this event.
