David Rennie
Head of Low Carbon Energy | Scottish Enterprise

Head of Low Carbon Energy at Scottish Enterprise in July 2022.  This remit covers Offshore Wind, Marine and also Energy Policy and Research.

From 2020 to 2022 he was Head of Trade for Energy and Low Carbon Transition for Scottish Development International, the international arm of Scottish Enterprise, helping companies to export and trade overseas

Prior to that, he held a number of roles within Scottish Enterprise. For most of his time with SE, he was Head of Oil and Gas, working with stakeholders, the company base and trade bodies to help the sector to grow and evolve.

Isla is equally passionate about diversity and inclusion. This led her to start Full Circle 21, a D&I network for the clean energy sector. The group provides free training and support to all members, helping them be their best. It also supports companies to proactively become more inclusive.

Adam Hollis
Supply Chain Manager | Buchan Offshore Wind

Adam is the Supply Chain Manager at Buchan Offshore Wind and has over 20 years’ experience working for major operators in the energy industry, with a focus on offshore floating wind. He is a Chartered Engineer with a variety of engineering and project management roles from development through to commissioning and supply chain.

Buchan Offshore Wind is a global offshore wind consortium, consisting of BayWa r.e., a global renewable energy business; Elicio, an experienced Belgian offshore wind developer, owner and operator; and BW Ideol, a proven floating technology leader and international floating wind project co-developer. Buchan Offshore Wind has secured the rights to develop the floating Buchan Offshore Wind Farm, which is located 75km northeast of Fraserburgh, the wind farm will have a capacity of around 1GW, enough to power over 800,000 homes with green, renewable energy.
