Anosheh Afghahi, M.D., M.P.H.
Senior Medical Director, Paradigm Health

Anosheh Afghahi, M.D., M.P.H., is a medical oncologist who specializes in breast and hereditary cancer syndromes. She is a Senior Medical Director at Paradigm Health, where she serves as the medical lead for tech-enabled prospective clinical trials and supports the patient-trial matching services across the Paradigm clinical research network.

Prior to joining Paradigm Health, Afghahi served as Medical Director at Flatiron Health, where she was the medical lead for their patient-trial matching service and worked closely with academic investigators on clinical research opportunities. Afghahi is an experienced clinician and serves as Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado, where she takes care of patients with breast cancer.

Prior to her transition to health technology, Afghahi worked full-time as Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado, where she served as principal investigator on several grant-funded investigator-initiated and national clinical trials. In addition, she was the medical director of the Hereditary Cancer Program and the Vice President of the Colorado Cancer Coalition.

Afghahi received a Medical Degree from Harvard Medical School and a Master of Public Health from Harvard School of Public Health.

Joy Bartholomew, PhD, is the Senior Director of Research Operations at The Cancer & Hematology Centers (CHC), where she oversees Phase II-IV interventional and noninterventional clinical trials across seven community oncology locations throughout Michigan. Her career has spanned both clinical practice and research, focusing on improving outcomes for adult and pediatric cancer patients through clinical trials. Having led research operations in large metropolitan academic centers as well as rural community settings, Joy brings extensive experience operationalizing clinical research and integrating post-approval studies into routine oncology care.
