Cameron COLLIE

Collie is a senior Strategic Consultant with over 35 years’ experience in the Information Technology industry. During this time, Cameron has been involved in delivering IT solutions and strategic services to the global Rail Industry for over 25 years.

Cameron has a reputation for possessing a highly perceptive understanding of business issues within the Rail Industry as well as across a diverse range of other industries. His ability as a “thought leader” is highly valued by clients, as is his ability to provide pragmatic solutions to business problems and requirements.

Cameron was the inventor of the capability-based rail industry reference model “Industry Reference Frameworks – Rail” and the associated framework methodology. He wrote a whitepaper on this methodology and presented it at a global conference in Tokyo in 2009, for which he received the award for Best International Paper.

Cameron is highly experienced in the areas of ICT Strategy and Enterprise Architecture. He has an indepth knowledge of a range of relevant methodologies and techniques. He is a contributor to industry forums on Industry and Enterprise-level Architectures and is the developer of several Industry architectural frameworks and blueprints.

Cameron has engaged with many rail clients in Australia and New Zealand and across the globe and maintains a “trusted advisor” status to several tier-1 companies across the Rail Industry.

Within Dassault Systemes, Cameron is currently part of the DELMIA brand Worldwide Industry Experts Group and is responsible for the Rail Industry. In this role he is responsible for strategic client engagement from an external focus perspective, while internally within DS, Cameron is responsible for IP development and liaison with DS R&D to guide development of the Rail industry product portfolio.
