Kara is the Head of Fintech and co-manager of HSBC Asset Management’s Fintech Venture strategy, which invests in start-ups addressing sustainability in the financial industry with core themes including transition finance, financial inclusion and wellbeing, and resilience of the financial system. Previously Kara ran Capital Markets Strategic Investments for HSBC in London and, prior to that, derivatives trading desks and structured lending strategies on the sell-side and buy-side in New York, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.
