Marietta Sayegh, MSc, PhD

Marietta Sayegh, MSc, PhD is the Nutrition Business Partner for Europe at Tate & Lyle. In her current role, Marietta supports the EU region by sharing the latest scientific evidence related to various Tate & Lyle ingredient solutions with internal and external audiences and customers. Moreover, Marietta contributes to the development of science-based communication materials targeted at nutrition, health, and wellness audiences.
Marietta holds a PhD in Human Nutrition from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, UK, on inter-individual variation in glucose responses in women. Prior to joining Tate & Lyle, Marietta worked as a postdoc research fellow at the University of Aberdeen, where she led projects focusing on nutrition sustainability and food security within Scotland.
