With over 20 years of experience spanning early drug discovery to clinical supply chain operations, Michael Klein has established himself as a leader in pharmaceutical research and clinical supply management. Currently serving as Global Clinical Supply Chain Group Head for Rare Disease at Sanofi, Michael leads CSC teams across multiple R&D sites while specializing in digital tool implementation and clinical supply chain optimization.
Michael’s experience encompasses developing digital strategies and overseeing technology transformation initiatives that drive efficiency and innovation in clinical supply operations. His technical proficiency includes Monte Carlo simulation and large-scale data analytics, with expertise as a power user of the N-Side Supply App. He leads his teams to identify optimized study designs, production plans, and distribution networks to improve project costs and lead times.
Michael holds an M.S. in Biological Sciences and Biotechnology from Drexel University and a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry from Mount St. Mary’s University.
