Willie McKinney

Dr. Willie McKinney is an established regulatory and inhalation toxicology expert with over two decades of research, product development, and regulatory strategy experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry. As the founder and CEO of McKinney Regulatory Science Advisors, LLC, he leverages his extensive background, including his previous role on the FDA’s Tobacco Product Scientific Advisory Committee and his past position as Vice President of Regulatory Sciences at Altria, to guide clients through multiple constantly evolving regulatory landscapes.

Dr. McKinney’s knowledge and experience are widely respected. He holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Toxicology from the University of North Carolina School of Public Health and is certified by the American Board of Toxicology. He launched McKinney Specialty Labs, LLC in January 2024 to offer specialized aerosol testing services as well as chemical and GLP toxicology analysis.

Together, McKinney Regulatory Science Advisors, LLC, and the newly established lab provide over 25 years of combined expertise in regulatory strategy, application filing, and product testing. This suite of services is customized to meet the unique needs of each client, guaranteeing integrity and quality at every step. Dr. McKinney’s leadership remains instrumental in driving scientific research and regulatory compliance forward.

Dmitry Tunkin

Dmitry has joined Group-IB as an engineering graduate from Bauman Moscow State Technical University. In 2013 he participated in defining and development of Group-IB IP protection solutions that helped brand owners fight against online piracy, phishing, violations of trademark rights, and counterfeiting. Now Dmitry holds a position of Deputy Direction of Brand Protection at Group-IB, with more than 5 years experience in infringement enforcement, managing the team and building successful technological brand protection strategies for clients.

Jon Staerkebye

An international industrial leader in the Oil and Gas Industry with experiences from oil and gas operators,  Oil field Service and  software technology companies. I have almost 40 years of extensive managerial experience and during the last 20 years I have  mainly been working with international strategic business development including strategies, M&As and developments of strategic alliances/partnerships and global solution sale and business development with Schlumberger, IBM and Kongsberg Oil and Gas

Patrick Horend

  • 15 years+ experience in Asset Management, Investment Banking, he recently joined a team of international investors to create the Climate Endowment, an investor across all asset classes following the portfolio approach of the American endowments with the additional requirement of a climate target.
  • Patrick worked 9 years for the Abu Dhabi Investment Council, a leading global sovereign wealth fund. There he worked the last 5 years for the Global Special Situations focusing on FIG/Credit/Structured Credit investments and 4 years in Risk Management performing due diligence across all asset classes; Prior to that he worked 3 years at DresdnerKleinwort underwriting leveraged loans and started his career at GE Capital
  • Patrick has a Master of Science from the ESCP Europe
