Einar Landre, Lead Analyst IT, Equinor

Einar Landre has more than 30 years of software experience. He is currently Lead Analyst, COO of CIT Emerging Technologies Group, supporting Statoil’s various digitalization initiatives. Before joining the CIT organization Mr. Landre lead Statoil IT D&W services for five years. Before joining Statoil 14 years ago Mr. Landre worked for various IT organizations as software developer, architect and leader. His special interest is computer-controlled systems and how these systems can be used to improve operational efficiency and safety. He is an active member of various professional communities, author of papers and renowned conference speaker. He lives with his family in Stavanger, Norway.

He holds an MSc degree in Information Technology from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow and he is an IEEE Certified Software Development Professional.

Patrick von Pattay

Held various positions in R&D, Business Consulting, Oilfield Services and with an Operator, currently heading Wintershall’s Digital Strategy Project.

William David Hartell

David Hartell has extensive onshore and offshore oil and gas developments experience including facilities engineering, construction, installation, project management, and production operations. His developments experience ranged from onshore remote locations to offshore deepwater locations. He has been responsible for managing subsurface asset, drilling and completion, and production operations teams. He developed Integrated Intelligent Operations & Production (IIO&P) strategies for remote facilities in Northwest Australia, the South Atlantic, and West Africa. He has prepared Reliability, Operability, and Maintainability focused strategies with industry partners for remote monitoring and diagnostics, data analytics, visualisation including augmented reality / virtual reality, and integrated production management systems across subsurface assets, subsea facilities, and surface facilities.

Jaco Fok, Chief Innovation, OMV Petrom

Jaco is Chief Innovation at OMV Petrom, driving their change towards a more innovative and digitally dexterous company with a healthy portfolio of new business options.

Before OMV, he spent four years at Shell, helping their transition to a more Open Innovation approach. He re-invigorated initiatives like GameChanger (radical early stage innovation) and External Technology Coordination, and set up internal networks and learning programs to drive culture change. He built Shell TechWorks, an innovative outfit that maximizes the use of external technologies in a ‘skunkworks’ approach. Jaco also spent 23 years with Royal DSM in progressive roles across four different businesses, including VP Business Incubator and Director of the China Innovation Centre. As member of the DSM Innovation Council, he drove change from operational excellence to innovation excellence.

Marc Hoffman

As Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Hoffman leads the global medical staff and provides medical oversight and expertise to support early clinical research studies. Dr. Hoffman has over 28 years of knowledge and experience as a physician in the pharmaceutical, device, and CRO industries to this role. He has extensive experience in global drug development, medical affairs, pharmacovigilance and regulatory affairs, and has a proven track record in building, managing and globalizing medical teams. Prior to this role, Dr. Hoffman served as Chief Medical Officer at Patient iP, providing clinical leadership around Patient iP’s innovative platform, customer programs and related medical affairs activities. Dr. Hoffman has also held the roles of Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President and General Manager over the Biopharmaceutical Business Unit at Theorem Clinical Research, leading the development of drugs and biologics. Previously in his career, he held positions of increasing responsibility in Medical and Scientific Affairs at Baxter, Hospira and Covance, providing senior-level strategic direction for Phase II-IV programs.
