Hugh was one of the co-authors of the clinical trial footprinting method and guidance documents as well as leading, from the ERM side, on the development of the clinical trials carbon calculator online tool and subsequent database. Hugh’s experience in life cycle analysis covers a wide range of pharmaceutical activities from drug development through to clinical trials.”

Emma Blasi Bosch

Emma has over 18 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, spanning biotech startups, multinational companies and consultancy. She specializes in developing and implementing global regulatory strategies and successfully leading meetings with international regulatory agencies. As a global regulatory lead, she provides key insights to global programs focused on rare disease and oncology drug development, from first-in-human through late-phase clinical development and registration trials to successfully register unique, innovative, and technologically complex products.

 

Jamie Robinson

Jamie Robinson has been a hydrogen specialist in the low carbon transition team at Scottish Enterprise for the past 2 and a half years. This role involves working with project developers, supply chain companies, inward investors, government and many other stakeholders to enable the development of the hydrogen sector in Scotland and to maximise the resultant economic benefits for Scotland. Previous roles have included sector specialist in local energy systems and supporting Scottish companies with European innovation funding applications for low carbon projects. Jamie has a 1st class honours BSc in Physics and an MSc with distinction in Renewable Energy Engineering.

Jon Jordan

Jon Jordan is currently Secretary of the North Sea Hydrogen Ports and Maritime Community (NS HyMaP.) NS HyMaP began as an Information Exchange in 2020 and its Members’ decided to form a membership based association in January 2021. Membership is open to the North Sea ports, maritime and hydrogen sectors.

Jon was Head of the Secretariat for the Hydrogen Fuel Cells in European Regions (HyER) and worked in Brussels from 2015 to 2018. He was also UK Contact Point for the North Sea INTERREG Programme from 2002 to 2014.

Jon Jordan established European Policy Solutions in 2001 and has worked for a wide variety of clients in the UK and European Union. This has included the development of EU project proposals, EU policy papers and the evaluation of projects.

Jon was Head of European Policy in Central Regional Council (1989 to 1993) and worked for the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities (CoSLA) from 1989 to 2001. He established and was Director of the CoSLA Brussels Office.

Alastair MacDonald

Alastair has 30+ years of experience in the biopharmaceutical development of pre and post approval drugs.

From 2001-2017, Alastair held a variety of senior positions at AstraZeneca, including as Global Head of Delivery for RWE. Here, he had responsibility for the delivery of both pre and post approval evidence generation programs supporting key assets that have gone on to become world-class products.

From 2017-2024, he worked at Syneos Health, a world-leading Product Development Organisation. As a Senior Vice President of Strategic Alliances, he assisted key clients to clinically develop and successfully commercialise assets, particularly through the generation of RWE.

Now Vice President, Medical Affairs at Sciensus, Alastair successfully helps patients across Europe gain access to treatments and candidate drugs. Enabled by this primary source patient access, data is captured through an innovative digital platform. These real-world insights drive better health outcomes including adherence and patient engagement.
