Darren Foulkes is the Head of European Strategic Partnerships at Viatris, responsible for the relationships, and business with our commercial partners across Europe.
Darren joined Viatris, then Mylan UK, in 2016 as part of the marketing department. He later moved into the regional account manager role in July 2017, and has since taken the position of Head of Strategic Partnerships . Darren has 20-years experience in Pharmaceuticals with roles at GlaxoSmithKline, Astra Zeneca, Sanofi Pasteur, and Gilead Sciences. Darren’s experience is in commercial and marketing spanning areas to include generic medicine, vaccinations, antiretrovirals, and branded medications in multiple therapy areas. Darren currently represents Viatris at GIRP, the European Union’s wholesaler and medicine manufacturer association.
Darren studied Pharmacology at Liverpool University, UK. He holds a marketing qualification from the Chartered Institute of Marketing in London, and an MBA from the Open University Business School. Darren is affiliated with the Chartered Management Institute in the UK, and holds Chartered Manager Status.

Anita Leposa is a Key Account Manager at TSS, a leading provider of temperature monitoring solutions for the pharmaceutical supply chain. With years of experience working closely with some of the world’s largest and most respected pharmaceutical brands, Anita is passionate about helping her customers excel in their segment. She specializes in driving operational efficiency and ensuring temperature integrity in clinical trials supply chain through automation and digitalization. At TSS, she plays a key role in supporting pharma sponsors to future-proof their supply chains with cutting-edge technology and data-driven insights.
Colin has worked in product development at Ecotone UK for over 15 years. True to the company’s mission to support Food for Biodiversity, Colin’s role is to work with natural, plant-based ingredients to create foods that are better for the health of people and the planet.
Under the Kallø brand at Ecotone, Colin has been at the forefront of plant-based innovations including the development of the brand’s Veggie Cakes, made with peas and lentils, Veggie Thins, made with chickpeas, and new Oat Cakes.
Last year he was invited to parliament with the Food & Drink Federation to speak directly to policy makers on the challenges of reducing fat, salt and sugar whilst increasing key nutrients such as fibre and protein.
He’s committed to finding food solutions that work in harmony with nature, not against it.
Carson is an expert in cold chain engineering and biopharmaceutical shipping validation and is passionate about developing risk-based validation strategies, qualifying thermal packaging, and designing transport simulations. He has been involved in regulatory submissions for commercial approval of biopharma products worldwide and has received over 30 approvals for products where he was responsible for developing shipping validation strategies.
His work in cold chain engineering has also made him an expert at assessing thermal packaging qualifications and performing heat transfer analysis to apply existing studies to new products. Carson serves as the co-chair for the International Society of Cell and Gene Therapies – Process Development and Manufacturing Committee – Cold Chain Logistics and Management Working Group. Additionally, he is a member of the International Safe Transit Association (ISTA) Pharma Committee and most recently, has co-authored the supply chain risk assessment guidance whitepaper.
In his Engineering Manager position with Modality Solutions, Robert is responsible for onboarding and mentoring new engineers as well as the creation of additional business opportunities and cutting-edge research into cold chain hazards and solutions. Robert also works directly with clients to strategically create the proper validation of their cold chain systems through risk and gap analysis and subsequent mitigation plans. He then implements the validation master plan through the creation of standard operating procedures, qualification of critical equipment, validation of processes, and in-person training for essential personnel.
As a Vendor Management Associate Director in the Logistics and Clinical Supply department, I focus on building strong vendor relationships to ensure an efficient and reliable supply chain. With over eight years of experience in procurement, vendor performance management, and planning, I understand the essentials of successful vendor partnerships. Previously, I developed global sourcing strategies as a Supplier Relationship Manager for CMOs in pharma, equipping me with the skills to manage and optimize vendor collaborations.
Pete provides direction and leadership for the Food Systems Institute (FSI), an interdisciplinary translational research institute, focused on making our food system more sustainable, equitable, and nutritious. It has four interdisciplinary research centres, focused on Sustainable Agricultural Systems, Future Proteins, Food Innovation, and Food Policy and Foresight. Pete has a decade of experience of working at the interface of academia and industry and has led the Food Innovation Centre since 2023.
