Jeroen Schoorel

With extensive innovation and brand marketing experience, Jeroen has been working for large international fmcg companies in various leadership roles across the world.

During his last assignment for Heineken, Jeroen led the introduction of the first returnable bottle system in Cambodia.

Currently, Jeroen is involved in the set-up of a new team for Sustainability in Heineken Global Commerce & Innovation. One of the key priorities of this team is to maximise circularity.

Jeroen is passionate about innovation and driving positive change through business.

Jonas Van Eykeren

Jonas is an accomplished operations management professional with over a decade of experience across various industries, including pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and food. Currently, Jonas serves as the Site & Operations Director at Tropicana Brands Group, where he oversees the European production plant, driving operational excellence and compliance while enhancing productivity and quality.

 

Jonas is passionate about developing and implementing distinct operational strategies that propel organizations to new levels of success. He has a proven track record of team leadership, process improvement, and increased output and productivity. As a certified business coach, Jonas believes in leading by example and is dedicated to coaching individuals to achieve their full potential.

 

In addition to his professional commitments, Jonas actively engages as a non-executive board member at Ter Wende – Espero, an observation, treatment, and guidance center for children and young people facing various challenges within their families.

Sandrine Ricard

Sandrine Ricard is a seasoned leader who has been shaping Chivas Brothers’ sustainability strategy since October 2017 as the Head of Sustainability, focusing on implementing the “Good Times from A Good Place” roadmap. Since July 2022, she’s also taken on the role of Deputy Director Sustainability & Responsibility for Pernod Ricard in the UK, overseeing Pernod Ricard UK and Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail in addition to Chivas Brothers. In July 2024, Sandrine was promoted to Global S&R communications director.

Previously, she served as Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility at Pernod Ricard, pioneering the creation of the department and crafting a meticulously structured sustainable strategy. Her influence extended globally, fostering a sustainable leader’s network across affiliates, and birthing innovative initiatives like the ground-breaking “Responsib’All Day” event and a global responsible drinking app.

With over 15 years in sustainability, Sandrine brings a genuine passion for Sustainable Business. Her diverse background includes work in public relations and communications in the USA.

Beyond the corporate sphere, Sandrine sits on the board of the Institut Oceanographique Paul Ricard, contributing to the preservation of marine biodiversity and addressing climate change through research and outreach.

Aisha U-K Umaru

Aisha is an Analyst in GlobalData’s Thematic Intelligence team, where her research has been primarily focused on the ecommerce industry. She also has experience across ESG, fintech, and the intersection between AI and the legal profession. She has been published in the International Accounting Bulletin.

Prior to joining GlobalData, Aisha worked at a fintech company specializing in capital gains tax software and offshore funds reporting.

Aisha is an environmentalist and volunteers at climate non-profit Zero Hour, which is working to push the Climate & Nature Bill through Parliament.

She holds a Bachelor of Law degree (University of Nottingham) and a Master of Science in Business with Entrepreneurship (Northumbria University).

Hafsteinn Snæland

Head of Brewery Operations at Ölgerðin.

Hafsteinn Snæland is the Head of Operations for the Brewery of Ölgerðin, Iceland’s largest food and beverage company. With great interest, and focus on sustainability, especially in recent years, Hafsteinn has gained valuable experience in environmentally mindful production. As a trained chef and beer sommelier, he blends his expertise in flavour and craftsmanship with a commitment to thoughtful resource use and reducing environmental impact.

Before his current role, Hafsteinn served as an executive head chef, where he emphasized sustainable practices in all dimensions of the restaurant and catering business. He is an alumnus of the renowned MAD Academy in Copenhagen and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at Reykjavik University, further deepening his knowledge in leadership and sustainable business practices.

At the conference, Hafsteinn will share insights from his, and Ölgerðin´s experience and ongoing commitment to sustainability, including the story behind COLLAB; an innovative functional drink that within a few years of launch, has become Iceland´s biggest beverage, bar none. He will contribute his perspective on innovative approaches to harnessing natural resources and the balance between industry-wide sustainability targets and brand-specific initiatives.
