Hao Ouyang joined Tirlán in 2023 as a R&D technologist for cheese and rennet casein. Hao is leading several projects across consumer and ingredient divisions in Tirlán. Prior to joining Tirlán, Hao completed his PhD work at Teagasc Moorepark and University College Cork, with experience in consumer research and a focus on cheese & dairy science and casein-polymer interactions

Darryn leads a business unit in one of the world’s largest professional services companies tasked with engineering and building the required critical minerals infrastructure ranging from mining to battery active materials manufacture and recycling.

Darryn is a mining engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering from the West Australian School of Mines as well as other business and professional qualifications. He has over 40 years of government, business, technical and engineering experience working on mining operations, projects and strategy on across the world.

For the past decade he has focused on highlighting mining’s pivotal role in delivering the global energy transition on schedule with minimal harm to peoples and the environment. This has involved having an active role leading the development of countries’ critical minerals strategies and free trade agreements to the development of satellite monitoring technology capable identifying and measuring tailings dam movement.

Vincent is a recognised commercial leader in the battery space. Vincent was previously CCO at Vulcan Energy, where he secured offtake agreements with 5 OEMs, co-lead more than €500M of equity funding, including the first equity investment in lithium production from an OEM. He was on the board and supported other battery metals projects. Vincent was also appointed as a critical raw material expert by the European Commission. He previously worked at IHS Markit where he led the battery materials research team covering the entire industry’s supply chain.

Dan has led Nano One since 2011 and is recognised as a thought leader in lithium-ion battery materials. Dan has 30+ years of experience as a professional engineer managing high-growth technology. His career has spanned materials handling, medical devices, industrial printing, nuclear fusion and materials science. In 2019, Minviro started with an idea from their founder, Robert Pell. While pursuing his PhD, Robert studied how to better understand and manage raw materials. Through this he realised that his work could extend beyond the mining industry, offering valuable insights to businesses across various sectors.

Driven by this realisation, he assembled a team that together built Minviro, turning it into the science-based data, software, and consultancy company it is today. Rooted in the application of scientific principles, Minviro exists to empower businesses to mitigate their environmental impact.

Kartik Ramkumar is the Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Leapcure, where he champions efforts to increase participation among underrepresented and marginalized communities in clinical research and develops programs to support DEI internally at Leapcure as well. He has worked on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives since university, supporting company teams in leading training and helping teams execute DEI programs. He is thrilled to discuss how DEI can be championed within clinical trials and how to achieve greater diversity and inclusion within rare disease clinical trials. Kartik currently lives in Washington D.C. where he enjoys being outside, exploring coffee shops, and volunteering outside of work.
