Nadiia Wyttenbach is a healthcare investor with a dual profile in Life Sciences and Investing with over 15 years of combined experience.

In 2009, she started her career in the fast-growing bioprocessing industry. She worked on advanced issues of viral filtration at Sartorius, one of global leader in bioprocessing.

After obtaining a PhD in Molecular Health from ETH in Zürich, she worked in Investment Banking, Private and Listed Equity.

Her investment experience ranges from large, publicly traded firms like IQVIA to small, specialized suppliers, medical technologies and tools companies. Subsector-wise, she has invested across the healthcare continuum, from Pharma and its supply chain to HealthTech and Digital.

Mauricio Toro holds a PhD in Computer Science from Université de Bordeaux, France. As the principal data scientist at Cheddar,
best newcomer at the British Bank Awards 2024, he developed solutions to maximize user savings using AI and NLP.
Previously, as a technical leader at a large fintech company in latin america, he developed solutions for customer feedback
summarisation using AI and NLP.

Claudia Monfredini is Group Environmental, Sustainability & ESG Manager at Bormioli Pharma since 2021. With a background deeply rooted in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives, Claudia is dedicated to driving sustainable practices within the pharmaceutical packaging industry.

​Prior to her role at Bormioli Pharma, Claudia served for over 5 years as HSE & Permitting Manager at the multinational company Eni, dealing with environmental conformities and policies, and waste management.

​Claudia holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from Bologna University and has completed executive master in Sustainability and Business Innovation at Bologna Business School (BSS).​ A Bocconi. Additionally, he completed courses at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, focusing on Global Economics, Markets, and Institutions.​

Nicola Carandente joined Bormioli Pharma in 2019 as Purchase Director and was promoted to Group Sales Director in September 2021. Prior to joining the company, he served as Divisional Purchasing Manager and EMEA Raw Materials Commodity Manager at Brembo S.p.A. for four years.

​He holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering and Business Management from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, and an Executive Master’s in Business Administration (EMBA) from SDA Bocconi. Additionally, he completed courses at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, focusing on Global Economics, Markets, and Institutions.​

Dr. Jokinen is a co-founder of DelSiTech and Chief Scientific Officer of in the company. In addition, he is a Principal Lecturer in chemical and biochemical engineering at the Turku University of Applied Sciences. He has over 20 years R&D experience in silica-based biomaterials. Dr. Jokinen holds a Doctor of Science in Technology and has a position as Adjunct Professor in Medical Biomaterials at Åbo Akademi University, Turku, Finland.

Dr. René Holm is a professor in pharmaceutical physical chemistry at the University of Southern Denmark. After receiving Master and PhD degree in pharmaceutics from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, in 2002, he started his carrier in the pharmaceutical industry at H.Lundbeck in 2001 and changed to Janssen in 2016. Dr. Holm has worked within pharmaceutical development, formulations for non-clinical testing in drug discovery, physical chemistry and material science covering both small and large molecules. In 2021 Dr. Holm engaged into a carrier change and became a full professor. Dr. Holm is (co-) author of more than 240 original articles in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters in the field of biopharmaceutics, preformulation, formulation and physical pharmacy and book chapters and is co-inventor on 19 published patents.
