Oliver Cronk

Oliver Cronk is the Technology Director at Scott Logic. Scott Logic are a Certified B corporation mid sized technology consultancy. Oliver leads on Innovation,  Research & Development and Enterprise Architecture initiatives within the firm. His focus areas are responsible and sustainable technology, this includes (but is not limited to) guiderails and governance around AI/ML and leading on the creation of the Open Sourced Technology Carbon Standard. Oliver has recently published white papers and blogs on De-risking Generative AI for enterprises and Will Generative AI hype collapse and can it become more sustainable? Oliver has a 20+ year career in hands on and strategic technology roles and holds a BSc(Hons) in Computer Science. Has been a Chartered Member of the BCS (CITP) since 2011 and is a part of the BCS Enterprise Architecture specialist group. He also holds other voluntary roles at Architecture and Governance Magazine / IASA, Intersection Group, ClimateAction.Tech and runs the podcast Architect Tomorrow. When he is not reading about technology Oliver enjoys cycling, running and photography.
