Darryn leads a business unit in one of the world’s largest professional services companies tasked with engineering and building the required critical minerals infrastructure ranging from mining to battery active materials manufacture and recycling.
Darryn is a mining engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering from the West Australian School of Mines as well as other business and professional qualifications. He has over 40 years of government, business, technical and engineering experience working on mining operations, projects and strategy on across the world.
For the past decade he has focused on highlighting mining’s pivotal role in delivering the global energy transition on schedule with minimal harm to peoples and the environment. This has involved having an active role leading the development of countries’ critical minerals strategies and free trade agreements to the development of satellite monitoring technology capable identifying and measuring tailings dam movement.
Vincent is a recognised commercial leader in the battery space. Vincent was previously CCO at Vulcan Energy, where he secured offtake agreements with 5 OEMs, co-lead more than €500M of equity funding, including the first equity investment in lithium production from an OEM. He was on the board and supported other battery metals projects. Vincent was also appointed as a critical raw material expert by the European Commission. He previously worked at IHS Markit where he led the battery materials research team covering the entire industry’s supply chain.

Kartik Ramkumar is the Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Leapcure, where he champions efforts to increase participation among underrepresented and marginalized communities in clinical research and develops programs to support DEI internally at Leapcure as well. He has worked on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives since university, supporting company teams in leading training and helping teams execute DEI programs. Her primary responsibility includes managing the market research process for the syndicated portfolio and custom consulting projects, as well as managing strategic research portfolio. Urte has over 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical market research industry. Prior to GlobalData, she held management roles at market research agencies providing consulting and market research services to the healthcare and technology industries.
