Prior to joining the Company, Ms. He was the Chief Corporate Strategy Officer and CEO of the Data Center of CapitaLand (SGX: C31) from July 2019 to August 2021. Prior to that, she worked with Temasek, including serving as a director and a managing director, successively, of Temasek International from July 2013 to March 2018, and as the chief strategy officer and chief investment officer of Ascendas-Singbridge, a Temasek portfolio company, from June 2015 and June 2019. Prior to that, she worked for Roland Berger Strategy Consultants (“Roland Berger”), with the latest position as a principal and a member of the Asia Leadership Team. Before joining Roland Berger, Ms. He worked as a senior manager in global investments & terminal operations at Fraport AG from January 2002 to August 2005. She started her career as a product manager of the global marketing chemicals division at BASF SE in Germany in 1997. Ms. He obtained her MBA degree from the University of British Columbia in Canada.

Brian joined, the then WestRock, in 2018 as Vice President Global Adherence & Clinicals – the business unit focused on providing Adherence focused, patient centric and Child Resistant Senior Friendly (CR-SF) packaging & service solutions to the Pharmaceutical, Biotech & Clinical Trial industries.
Having majored in marketing, business studies and finance Brians key expertise has been developing packaging solutions supplied to these key markets. Holding a wide range of increasingly elevated positions within companies such as Cardinal Health, Catalent and across several other packaging entities, Brian has gained invaluable insights and a thorough understanding of the demanding requirements, operating systems and ethos of the various market sectors that Smurfit Westrock support today.

Bernard Vrijens, PhD
Bernard Vrijens is Chief Executive Officer at Advanced Analytical Research on Drug Exposure (AARDEX Group). He is also Invited Professor of Biostatistics at Liège University, Belgium.
Dr. Vrijens holds a PhD from the Department of Applied Mathematics and Informatics from Ghent University, Belgium.
Dr Vrijen’s currently leads a research programme investigating (a) the most common errors in dosing using a simple but robust taxonomy, (b) particular dosing errors that can jeopardise the efficacy of a drug, and (c) the optimal measurement-guided medication management programme that can enhance adherence to medications and maintain long-term persistence.
Dr. Vrijens is a co-author of seven book chapters, over 100 peer-reviewed scientific papers, and named as inventor on 6 patents. He is a founding member of the International Society for Patient Adherence (ESPACOMP), and an active member of several EU- and US-funded collaborative projects around the theme of adherence to medications.
Dr. Vrijens is a highly-accomplished public speaker, having presented lectures at over 200 industry events and scientific conferences around the world over the past 20 years. Public speaking experience includes the NIH Adherence Network Distinguished Speaker Webinar Series, CDER Drug Packaging Summit at FDA, European Society of Cardiology Congress, American Society on Pharmacometrics, WHO Global Forum on Innovation for Aging Populations, among many others.

Michelle Carpenter, J.D., RAC has extensive work experience in regulatory affairs and project management. Michelle is currently serving as the EVP of Regulatory Affairs and Project Management at Star Therapeutics since January 2020. Prior to this, they worked at RPSpharma as the President since September 2013. Michelle has also worked as an instructor at UCSC Extension Silicon Valley from January 2014 to August 2023. Michelle has held leadership positions at True North, Afferent Pharmaceuticals, Acucela Inc., Dow Pharmaceuticals, Oculus Innovative Sciences, Dey Labs, and Santen, Inc. Michelle has successfully led various regulatory and clinical strategies, obtained regulatory approvals, and negotiated development programs and clinical studies throughout their career.
Michelle Carpenter, J.D., RAC has a comprehensive education history. Michelle earned their J.D. degree in health law from Golden Gate University, School of Law, attending from 1987 to 1991. Prior to that, they attended UC Santa Barbara, where they pursued a B.A. degree in sociology with a focus on biology, chemistry, and sociology. Ms. Lane has over 25 years of experience in the Pharma/Biotech industry in clinical operations and project management. She is currently the VP of Clinical Operations at Star Therapeutics and has held leadership positions at Genentech, Avalanche, Geron, Pfizer and Sanofi. Her extensive experience in Clinical Operations includes operational execution of phase II-IV trials across multiple therapeutic areas, as well as IND,BLA, CTA filings. She has vast experience in CRO/vendor management, program and clinical site management and monitoring as well as patient recruitment.
