Bineke Posthumus is Director Business Development at the Renewable Polymers department of Avantium. She holds the global responsibility for commercialization of Avantium’s lead plant-based products FDCA and PEF for the materials and packaging industry. Before joining Avantium Bineke worked as a senior business consultant for almost 10 years at TNO, the leading Dutch research Institute. Bineke hails a master’s in strategic management from the London School of Economics where she graduated in 2007.

Currently working as Head of Operations for the Brewery of Ölgerðin, Iceland’s biggest food and beverage company. He is also a certified Beer Sommelier with countless appearances speaking about all things beer.

Practised in leading agencies to execute £10m+ Through the Line campaigns, successful in executing Revenue Growth Management programmes on a £400m+ turnover business, and proficient in steering senior stakeholders towards a common vision. Now driving significant change at the UK’s largest independent brewery, Greene King.

John Batchelor
John combines more than 20 years experience in clinical data management, PCOR science and clinical trial operations with expertise leading the development of data pipelines, knowledge management products and new processes to advance the use of eCOA & digital measures in clinical trials.
John is an expert in the execution and scaling of patient and site facing clinical trial technologies who gained a BSc in Biology from the University of Bristol in the UK. Before joining DEEP John worked for Roche for over 9 years where he led external industry collaborations and played a leadership role in the co-creation of a new operational framework and ecosystem of data/ technology products to support the digital health technology lifecycle.
John now works for DEEP as a Science Liaison where he partners closely with DEEP’s existing customers, helping them to maximize value gain through collaboration.
