Georgina Fulgar is a seasoned Clinical Development professional with over 25 years of early-phase to post-approval experience.  GCP Clinical Consulting, Inc. was created by Georgina more than 12 years ago.  Her work with small to large sized organizations has contributed to various key approvals.  Her global development operations experience includes: Oncology, Immunology, Rare Disease, Dermatology, Cardiology, Neurology, Obesity, and Mental Health.  In her current role as Executive Director, Development Operations at eFFECTOR Therapeutics, Inc., Georgina and her mighty team are working effectively to advance the organizations pipeline of Selective Translation Regulator Inhibitors (STRIs) to support patients in need.

Richard Gardham

Richard has been the managing editor of Investment Monitor since its launch in September 2022. Before this, he worked for 14 years as the production manager on the Financial Times publications fDi Magazine and The Banker. His 25-year career in the print media has seen him work on various national newspapers and business-to-business titles.

Graduated from Food Engineering at Aegen University , Izmir. Muserref has over 20 years experience in food ingredients market.

Joana Maricato

Joana Maricato is responsible for the consumer and market research at Ingredion, a leading global ingredients solutions company. She is the Global Insights Research Manager at Ingredion’s Insights Center of Excellence, focusing on providing practical and useful insights as well as identifying the best strategies to create consumer-preferred products in today’s increasingly complex business environment.

Caroline Babayéguidian

Caroline Babayéguidian is a Director in Sustainability at UBS AG based in Zurich. She primarily focuses on ESG risks and opportunities as well as related regulations and international standards. She has also developed a strong expertise on the Nature & Biodiversity loss topic in the financial industry. Prior to joining UBS in 2022, Caroline worked for several international leading banks such as Deutsche Bank, Rothschild and Credit Suisse across various businesses especially in private banking and wealth management. Caroline holds a Master of Science degree in Banking & Finance from the EM Lyon University and holds the CFA in ESG investing as well as the Biodiversity & Finance certificate from the University of Zurich.

Dr. Francesco Mandalà

Francesco Mandalà, CIO, joined MBaer Merchant Bank in February 2021. His background is in Economics and Financial Engineering, and his competencies are portfolio management, fixed income modelling, macro strategy, risk management and fund analysis. Previously, Francesco worked at UBS and Julius Baer in various roles. Earlier, he was a Statistician at the European Central Bank (ECB) in Frankfurt and an Analyst at the Committee of European Banking Supervisors (CEBS) in London. He currently collaborates with the Swiss Finance Institute (SFI) and co-leads some Master Classes together with SFI Academics. Francesco holds a Certificate in Financial Engineering & Risk Management (Columbia University), a Certificate in Investment Management with Python and Machine Learning (EDHEC Risk Institute), a PhD in Economics (Pavia University), an MSc in Economics & Econometrics (Southampton University), a BA in Economics (Bocconi University, Marks: 110/110). Francesco is fluent in Italian and English.

Tom Bursnall

With interests in plant-based food and medicine, Tom went vegan in 2015 and started a plant-based restaurant in Berkshire called Miami Burger in 2019. The restaurant closed but they continue to sell their propriety meat alternative products to other restaurant, hotel, and bar groups across the UK, Spain and Netherlands.  They also sell direct to the consumer through various retail channels including online grocer Ocado.  Other business interests include adult care sector, executive search, and brownfield residential development.

Yiping Li

Yiping Li is the Chief Operating Officer for Deutsche Bank (Switzerland) Ltd. as well as for the DB International Private Bank for Europe, Middle East and Africa.

She joined Deutsche Bank in 2019, as the Head of Wealth Management in Luxembourg, with dual responsibilities for the local Wealth Management platform in Luxembourg, as well as for the entire Benelux market region.

Before joining Deutsche Bank, Yiping Li was acting as COO and deputy CEO of Credit Suisse (Luxembourg) S.A. with responsibilities for Luxembourg and branches in France, Austria, the Netherlands, Portugal and Ireland. Prior to this, she held various management positions at Credit Suisse

Yiping Li holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems and in Computer Science and Technology from the Beijing Technical University, China, as well as from the Saxion Hogescholen Deventer, the Netherlands, respectively. She also holds a Master of Science degree in Information System Engineering from the University of Twente, the Netherlands.
