Jeff is a CPA and holds a CITP certification. He is a 40 year veteran of the accounting industry where he gained his initial experience at Arthur Young & Co. He has broad experience in the US accounting industry, with career highlights including serving as President & CEO of the Small Firm Services business unit at CCH and President of AccountantsWorld. Jeff has a strong passion for improving the industry from an everyday workflow perspective to driving higher quality in all we do. At Validis Jeff helps the world’s largest firms realise the power of technology in the audit process, as well as helping forge strategic partnerships in the space to help bring best of bread ideas and solutions to the market.

Frank Leu
Frank Leu is a Co-Founder and CEO of Novapeutics at Philadelphia, PA – a biopharma spun-out from the University of Pennsylvania, developing a first-in-class small molecule beta-cell restoration curative for type 2 diabetes. Prior, Frank was at a specialty pharma Verto Institute, developing biologic therapeutics for treating the neuroendocrine cancer. Frank graduated with a Pharmacology Ph.D. from Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences in 2001, and then post-doc in a Howard Hughes Medical Institute laboratory at the Rockefeller University in molecular enzymology. He has served as an adjunct instructor at the Rutgers Cancer Institute of NJ, and is an adjunct professor at the pharmacology department of the Thomas Jefferson Medical University. Frank also founded BioPharMatrix developing blockchain solutions to lifescience innovations at all phases, and serves as advisor to the Pennovations center working with 1776 / Benjamins Desk. Frank is a thought leader in the blockchain architecture innovations in the life-sciences and drug development, Frank serves on multiple advisory boards and frequently served as chairman, speaker, moderator, and facilitator for many life-sciences and drug development events.

Dr Bernd Vogel
Bernd Vogel was a researcher and leader of the Smart Material Development Group (focusing on nitinol) at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology when he began the step-by-step process that led to the founding of Endosmart in 2002 and became leaders in processing nitinol into various product forms. In the end of 2022 Endosmart was acquired by Alleima. With his extensive knowledge and skills, he is now Global Technology and Innovation Manager at Alleima.
Dr Cacie McDorman
Cacie McDorman is the Engineering Manager NAFTA for Alleima. Her background is in physics and materials science and engineering. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Central Florida in 2020, where she focused on the development and characterization of biosensors. Cacie has been with Alleima for 2 years and has focused on enhancing the R&D capabilities at our Palm Coast facility. In her spare time, she enjoys music and spending time with her family.
Gilyana Borlikova
A Data Science Manager (Principal Data Scientist) at ICON plc. IT Innovation and Informatics Data Science team, responsible for development and delivery of ML/AI solutions. Gilyana has over 20 years of experience in life sciences and 7 years specifically developing and implementing machine learning algorithms for clinical trials operations.
Prior to joining ICON, Gilyana spent 15 years working in several leading research-intensive universities, including the UCD Centre for Business Analytics, University College Dublin (Ireland), University of Queensland (Australia) and the University of Sussex (UK). Gilyana holds MSc in Business Analytics and PhD in Neuroscience. She has extensive research experience with 5 peer-reviewed publications in the field of Machine Learning and 15 peer-reviewed journal publications in Biomedical Research.
