Ahmar Zaidi

Dr. Ahmar U. Zaidi is a pediatric hematologist who spent the last several years at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan, where he helped care for over 800 patients with sickle cell disease. He currently serves as Medical Director, Clinical Development for Agios Pharmaceuticals. Along with numerous publications and clinical trial experience, he has worked tirelessly as an advocate for sickle cell disease patients, fueled by a belief that medical misinformation and disinformation steadily contribute to poor outcomes in sickle cell disease patients. He co-founded and hosts the sickle cell educational podcast, Cheat Codes; and has been an advocate for social media as a tool for patient and physician education. He currently serves as the Chair of the Hematology Anti-Racism Task Force for the American Society of Hematology and the Chair of the Board for The Sickle Cell Reproductive Health Directive.

Elvira Suniega-Tolentino

Elvira Suniega-Tolentino is the Senior Clinical Trial Portfolio Manager for Singapore at the Nestlé Clinical Research Unit, responsible for end-to-end clinical project management and operational activities of Nestlé corporate clinical trials serving all Nestle Business Units.

Prior to joining Nestlé, Elvira was the Area Clinical Operations Manager for Abbott Nutrition R&D, Asia Pacific Center in Singapore for 11 years. Over the years, she has sharpened her expertise in the industry, bringing in thoughtful and strong competency into Nestlé’s clinical projects.

Yael Genosar, Associate Director of Clinical Supply Chain at OPKO Biologics Israel. Experienced Clinical Supply Chain manager with a four years’ experience of managing supply chain in a global clinical trial. Previously Project Manager at Hot Mobile a wireless telecommunications company, leading technologies projects.

Rich Bennett

Richard Bennett is Senior Director and Therapeutic Strategy Lead in the Neuroscience franchise at Worldwide Clinical Trials. With two decades in the industry, he has advanced through the traditional clinical operations roles such as clinical research associate and clinical trial manager and has spent many years as a leader of clinical development programs in both the larger pharma and biotech setting. He has worked on neuromuscular disorders, rare diseases, critical care, pain and palliative care, dermatology, and epidemiology programs. His direct experience working with large pharma and small and emerging biotech firms has given him a deep understanding of the needs of our sponsors

Stuart Derricott

Stuart originally worked within IT retail and Distribution for various vendors and partners including Sony, LG Electronics and Michelin.

Realizing 10 years ago he had transferable skills Stuart joined the hospitality sector – Originally working in Channel Management solutions and Booking Engines.

Enjoying the sector and all is offers he moved to his current role 3 years working with Operations Solutions, supporting hotels to automate all their guest requests, hotel maintenance and housekeeping functions to help solve staff shortages and save money.
