Golan has over 20 years of senior managerial roles in the Israel Ministry of Defense and as an officer in the IDF Special Forces. Franziska Katterbach is an accomplished business executive and legal expert (zugelassene Rechtsanwältin) who brings extensive experience working within Europe’s emerging cannabis industry. After completing her legal studies at Universität Leipzig and Landgericht Darmstadt, Franziska joined the corporate law firm Dentons, where she was involved in high-profile deals in the cannabis sector across multiple jurisdictions. Franziska later served as Director of Legal for Canopy’s European operations, before joining Khiron. With 8+ years of regulatory expertise and 4+ as business executive in the European emerging cannabis industry, Franzska has well rounded knowledge in the industry. Franziska is considered a pioneer of the medical cannabis market in Germany, working in the medical cannabis industry in Europe on executive level since the very beginning in 2016.

Dr. Alexis S Mobley completed her PhD in Neuroscience and Immunology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center UTHealth Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. She is currently a postdoctoral fellow at Janssen Pharmaceuticals in Global Regulatory Affairs, where she supports the Immunology therapeutic area focused on pediatric studies, combination devices, and novel cytokine inhibitors. Alexis is also President, Treasurer, and a co-founder of Black in Immuno, a non-profit organization focused on celebrating, amplifying, and supporting Black voices in immunology. Alexis enjoys mentoring students, working on effective scientific communication, and advocating for underrepresented groups. Outside of the work, she serves on the Board of Directors and sings for International Voices Houston, a non-profit organization that uses choral singing to “create global harmony by celebrating and giving voice to human difference.” As hobbies, Alexis likes to read, play video and board games, and spend time with her family comprising her child and rescue dog, Izzy.

Gari Gono is Head of Solutions for INSTANDA. Leading the global strategic platform roadmap he enables insurers, brokers and MGAs successfully design, build and deploy world-class digital insurance solutions that create value. Gari believes that no code digital insurance platforms are fundamental to transforming the insurance industry. He has deep domain insurance expertise following leading Solutions Architect and Technology Consultant roles at Zurich and Deloitte Digital. In addition to leading Solutions at INSTANDA, Gari is the podcast creator and host of ‘More Brown in Town, a podcast that addresses diversity and tackles conversations about racial diversity within the workplace.
