Caitriona Lenagh is QP Services Manager and Qualified Person for Almac Clinical Services. Caitriona is responsible for the QP Services department, who assist clients with the importation of materials into the EU – as well as the release of Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs) for use in clinical studies. Caitriona is a widely respected QP within the industry and provides invaluable consultancy services to Almac’s client base. Caitriona joined Almac in 2009 and has first-hand experience in all QP requirements in the world of Global Clinical Trials. She has worked with global teams, educating and mentoring them in the requirements of EU legislation, particularly the roles and responsibilities of the Qualified Person. She has extensive experience in a number of dosage forms and has performed audits of manufacturing, testing and packaging sites throughout the world, imparting knowledge on the regulatory requirements and industry expectations. Caitriona has an honours degree in Biochemistry from Queen’s University Belfast, United Kingdom.

Branden Ryu is the founder, chief executive officer, and chairman of BIORCHESTRA. Branden earned his Ph.D. degree from the Graduate school of medicine at the University of Tokyo and completed the Harvard MIT health science and technology internship program at MGH. Also, he has experience as a researcher at Harvard medical school. After his research career, he found BIORCHESTRA to focus on developing RNA-based therapeutics in 2016. He has discovered the novel RNA biomarker and invented the novel ASO modality to treat neurodegenerative diseases. Under his leadership, BIORCHESTRA has expanded the new RNA modalities to cure neurological disorders including genetic rare diseases. Based on these scientific results, he has filed more than 129 patent applications since 2017.

Bonnie Bain, PhD, is the Global Head and EVP of Healthcare Operations and Strategy. Bonnie has over 20 years’ experience in the healthcare sector and a proven track record of developing innovative solutions on both the client and agency sides of the business. Bonnie was GlobalData Healthcare’s first Western analyst, and under her leadership, the company launched a number of premium syndicated reports, analytical tools, and databases in the pharmaceuticals and medical devices space. Prior to GlobalData, Bonnie was Vice President and Global Research & Analysis Director for Informa’s Pharma Division, which includes Datamonitor Healthcare, Scrip Group, and Business Insight. Bonnie also worked for several years at Decision Resources as an Analyst and Project Manager. On the client side of the industry, Bonnie worked for several years as a Senior Manager in Marketing Strategy and Analytics at Boston Scientific, where her work contributed to the successful commercialization of the first ever Access and Visualization Platform at the company. Bonnie has a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Purdue University and completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Molecular Pharmacology at the University Of Miami School Of Medicine. She also has a graduate certificate in Applied Management Principles from Purdue University Krannert School of Management.
