Charles Garity

Charles has more than 15 years of experience in supporting global clients in their IT disposal strategy, also and oversees the portfolio and pricing for all of CSI Leasing’s subsidiaries throughout Europe and Latin America.

For the past 5 years, he has been part of the executive leadership that leads a team who processes over 1.8 million assets annually, saving 3 million pounds of e-waste per year.

Charles joined CSI in 2009 as director of asset management for CSI Latina. The consistent growth across the Latin American region is attributed to his expertise and work in establishing a new subsidiary in Peru, developing a successful bank relationship in Colombia and providing wholly-owned remarketing and recycling services throughout the region.

Prior to CSI, Charles worked for HP and Compaq Financial Services in several roles, including financial analyst, controller, and portfolio, pricing and remarketing manager. Charles was also a member of the Bank of New York American Depositary Receipt team that helped list Latin American corporations on the U.S. public markets.

Charles received a bachelor’s degree in finance from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia and an MBA from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.

Elena Marinova

Elena Marinova is a co-founder, President and Chair of the BoD of Musala Soft, a 700+ people company that has been implementing for more than 20 years challenging IT projects for top tier multinational enterprises. The company’s portfolio covers some of the most innovative areas like AI, Big Data, IoT, Cloud, and AR/VR and a long list of demanding clients like Commerzbank, KBC Group, Financial Times, IBM, VMware, SAP, Deutsche Telekom, BMW, Volkswagen, Uber and more.

Elena is also spending a lot of her time to work on pushing forward Innovation and Education in the modern society. She has served board member seats at American University of Bulgaria, Bulgarian Association of information Technologies, Bulgarian Association of Software Companies, and is a co-founder of the European Junior Olympiad in Informatics.

As a public speaker Elena has been delivering keynote sessions, participated in and moderated panels in international business and IT conferences and summits in Germany, China, Greece, Macedonia, Bulgaria and US among others. Topics she’s keen on sharing first-hand experience and knowledge include AI, IoT, Innovation, Diversity, Culture & Education, Women in Technology & Leadership.

Maria Milas

Maria joined the clinical trials field as a Clinical Trial Assistant for one of the top 10 CROs supporting Clinical Research Associates (CRA) with the management of the trial documentation, focusing on Oncology phases II and III trials. After a Master in Clinical Trial Monitoring and some experience, Maria changed to a CRA role monitoring trials phases I-IV in different therapeutical areas: oncology, respiratory, rare diseases, hematology, etc. Five years later, Maria joined Teckro to help bring technological innovation to clinical sites.

William De Vijlder

William De Vijlder is the Group Chief Economist of BNP Paribas. He began his career in the Economic Research Department at Belgium’s Generale Bank in 1987 and became Chief Investment Strategist in the Asset Management division in 1989. He was subsequently Managing Director and Global Chief Investment Officer at Fortis Investments. When Fortis Investments merged with BNP Paribas Investment Partners in 2010, he became a member of the Executive Committee of BNP Paribas Investment Partners as CIO Partners and Alternative Investments and subsequently CIO Strategy and Partners. In September 2013, he was appointed Vice Chairman of BNP Paribas Investment Partners. Since September 2014 he is Group Chief Economist of BNP Paribas.

Kathlyn Tilley

Kathlyn Tilley is Director of Business Development for Nucleus Network, Australia’s largest Phase 1 clinical research organization and the only Phase 1 specialist globally with facilities in the USA and Australia.  She has over 15 years of experience working in the CRO industry, supporting clinical development efforts in the US, China, and Australia.  Kathlyn has successfully served clients in biotech, pharma, and academic institutions to discover the strategy and tools they need to reach their clinical development milestones.  Kathlyn holds a BS in Biology from the State University of New York at Geneseo and MS in Clinical Research Management from Drexel University.
