Ann-Marie Aguilar

Ann Marie Aguilar joined the IWBI team in 2016, and from a base in London oversees the day-to-day activities of IWBI Europe, Middle East and North Africa. She supports the business development and technical teams and is the first point of contact for clients and design teams interested in all applications of WELL Certification. Ann Marie’s role is to support “early adopters” of the WELL Building Standard, by facilitating communication with IWBI technical experts to provide international translation, alternative adherence pathways and alignment with European sustainability rating tools. Ann Marie’s expertise in environmental sustainability and well-being has helped deliver strategic adoption of WELL into the UK, Ireland and continental Europe with support from BRE, Green Building Councils and other partners in the UK and abroad. She is also responsible for implementing new directives for research, growth, recruitment and education. 

 

She brings to IWBI a technical background in sustainability consulting, having worked for 11 years with Arup Associates, the architectural consulting arm of Arup in their London offices.  Her 17 years of global project experience range in scale from campus size to small city developments and identify a clear sustainability vision, objectives and measurable targets. She has extensive experience in LEED Certification, material deconstruction and material reuse processes. Whilst there she developed Arup’s health and well-being consultancy offering across their global operations. Previously, Ann Marie led her own sustainability consulting business in New York City. Among the first cohort of WELL APs, she now also provides education and support to industry as a WELL Faculty member. She earned her bachelor’s degree in architecture from the New York Institute of Technology and received Chartered Environmentalist status in 2012. She is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts, member of the Sustainability Futures Group at the RIBA and a member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment.

 

Dr. Björn Peters

Björn Peters is a physicist and started his career as a consultant at McKinsey&Comp. In the 20+ years of his career, he worked with top management at Deutsche Börse and Deutsche Bank AG, responsible for commodity and energy markets. He is the founder of a number of closed-end funds investing into power stations. In 2016, he founded the private research and consultancy firm Peters Coll., specializing in commodity, energy and storage business. Since 2020, he has served Dual Fluid as CFO.

Øystein Dahl Hem

Øystein Dahl Hem is the Company’s CFO, a position he has held since the middle of 2019. He also serves as the company’s Interim CEO since August 2021. Øystein has extensive management and industry experience after working with business-to-business sales and marketing in Telenor Norway for four years, two of which within the video collaboration industry, two years working with strategy for Telenor Norway and two years working for McKinsey.

Øystein holds a Master of Science and Technology degree in Industrial Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) (2010).

Todd M Solomon

Dr. Solomon is a Clinician / Scientist with over 15 years of experience in clinical research and development in neuropsychiatry and neurodegenerative diseases. Previously to his role at Mind Med, Todd was a Director of Global Clinical Development at Avanir Pharmaceuticals leading development programs in neurologic and psychiatric disorders such as Schizophrenia and Traumatic Brain Injury. Prior to that, Todd served as the Associate Director of Clinical Programs and Data Science for CNS programs at Signant Health. He holds degrees in psychology and neuroscience (BA) from St. Lawrence University and Clinical Neuropsychology (PhD) from New York University. Todd completed his fellowship in neurodegenerative disease at Boston University School of Medicine where he served as an associate faculty member, clinician, and investigator for several years.

Krzysztof Potempa

Neuroscientist and social entrepreneur with nearly 20 years of experience in turning data into knowledge that can change lives in academic, industry and startup settings.
