Thomas Doerge is the Global Head of Active Implantable Medical Devices at BSI and provides Medical Device expertise leadership and mentoring in areas of competence to the team.
Prior to this position Thomas mentored and coached team members to deliver robust certificate decisions for Design dossier reviews as a Technical Team Manager. He has over 20 years’ experience in the Research and Development of AIMD products specifically in the field of neuromodulation.
Rafe Rosato is the Chief Innovation Officer at DLL, responsible for driving innovation through the acquisition, development and implementation of digital technologies as well as developing new business models to transform the client experience. Rafe has held various commercial leadership positions in his 26 year tenure at DLL, bringing innovative ideas and solutions to some of the most recognized companies in the world. He recently led the design, creation of an online portal, leveraging cloud-based technology to create a platform focused on speed, efficiency and transparency through a fintech approach. Rafe received his formal risk management and credit training as a member of Chemical Banking Corporation and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Civilization from University of Pennsylvania in 1988.
After nearly thirty years of operational and international automotive and captive financial services experience, including Black Horse, Daimler and Allianz, Simon has spent the last five years in consultancy and advisory roles for a number of OEMs, banks and other financial services clients, working with a variety of technology providers across diverse areas including online/direct sales, dealer Point-of-Sale and legacy portfolio management systems.
Much of Simon’s most recent experience has been accumulated in major, international RfP and implementation settings, both client-side and as service provider, gathering valuable insights into solution architecture, as well as key requirements and selection criteria.
Floris is the global commercial lead for Medical Devices at Castor, a global eClinical solutions provider that supports drug and device manufacturers with data collection across the product lifecycle. Over the last 3.5 years, Floris has connected with over 300 medical device companies to help build solutions for their research and development needs.
Floris’ deep understanding and experience in medical device product development and clinical research helps him discuss these challenges and find solutions.
Enrico Perfler is a MedTech entrepreneur and the founder of 1MED, a specialised CRO supporting medical device manufacturers with EU MDR compliance, clinical investigations and post-market clinical follow-up (PMCF).
With over 20 years of experience in regulatory affairs and clinical research, he works closely with Notified Bodies and manufacturers to design scalable, regulator-ready post-market evidence strategies aligned with current MDR expectations.
He is also a driving force behind 1Survey+, a clinical-grade PMCF platform designed in accordance with ISO 14155, created to standardise post-market evidence generation across medical device portfolios under EU MDR.
Stephen Kennedy heads the EMEA solutions team for eGain. Working with eGain’s customers and prospects, he helps clients understand the benefits that can be obtained with a successful eGain implementation. Stephen started his career with Sterling Software where he managed the Northern European support centre. Using effective knowledge during his tenure at Sterling software, he moved into a Pre-Sales role, working with prospects and customers to achieve some of the results he attained. For the last 20+ years, Stephen has been involved in many aspects of the implementation of successful Customer Service environments and ensuring that customers attain the expected benefits
