Jorge Franceschi

Since 2002 Jorge has been involved in pharmaceutical, biotech, and biologics research in a variety of roles including clinical, operations, finance, market Intelligence and business development at the site level, SMO, CRO, and now for clinical supply solutions and access at TrialCard.  Past employment includes Sarkis Clinical Trials, Radiant Research, Covance, Interventional Concepts,  MedPrimo Research as an independent consultant, FutureLife LLC advisory board member, and the University of Florida/VAMC Department of Neurology.  Cumulatively he has been involved in over 350 clinical trials including Phase I-IV, PK/PD, vaccine, 510k submission, vaccine research, and has conducted both pediatric and adult trials. Mr. Franceschi completed his undergraduate work at the University of Florida in Food Science & Human Nutrition and completed his Masters of Science in Health with emphasis in nutrition at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville.  A majority of his clinical trial work has been within the CNS realm supporting major depressive disorder, anxiety, bipolar, ADHD, and PTSD research but most recently he is learning about and supporting clinical teams needing oncolytic co-therapy medications.

Lisa Kaufmann

Seasoned R&D Industry professional with over 30 years of experience in large pharma, mid-sized, start-up and virtual settings. Career appointments span the full spectrum of product life-cycle management, across every phase of development and every research platform, including pharmaceuticals, biologics, devices, combination products, gene and stem cell therapeutics, Phases I-IV. Achievements include contribution to the US and International market approval of 6 biopharmaceutical products.

Simi Nischal

A seasoned professional and thought leader in IRT space, Simi heads ‘Digital Innovation & Technologies’ function within clinical supply chain at GSK. She lead’s GSK on strategic and operational activities, with a strong focus end to end connected digital supply chain. She has a broad range of industry insight having worked for both CROs and for sponsors, and has a wide portfolio of systems delivery from IRT systems to supply chain management systems and more recently advanced analytics for the digital supply chain. She is committed to innovation in the clinical trials arena and has keen interest in building and developing IRT solutions that are patient & site centric and create enhanced user experience.

Simi is a resident of Pennsylvania. Outside of work she enjoys traveling, poetry and classical music. She has an affinity for spiritualism and hopes to find her guru for the teachings of Vedas and Gita.

Dr Ian Robertson

Since March 2008, Ian Robertson has been a member of the BMW AG Board responsible for Global Sales and Marketing. From January 2018 he has been responsible for UK Government relations with the specific focus on the Brexit discussions. He reached retirement age from BMW end of June 2018.

 

Ian was born in Oswestry, Shropshire (UK) and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Maritime Studies from the University of Wales, Cardiff. He started his career in the automotive industry as a Graduate Trainee with the Rover Group in Great Britain in 1979 and has been working in a variety of positions in the car industry ever since.

 

From 1988 he held various senior management roles at the Rover Group, including Purchasing Director, before being promoted to Managing Director of Land Rover Vehicles in 1994. He served as Managing Director at BMW South Africa from 1999 to 2005 before becoming the Chairman and Chief Executive for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Ltd in 2005 and he remained chairman until 2012.”
