Juan Pablo Llobet

Juan Pablo Llobet is the CEO of Grupo Fertiberia, a European leader in high value-added crop nutrition, as well as a provider of industrial and environmental solutions. The company excels in soil management and sustainable fertigation, helping drive a more efficient, productive, and environmentally conscious agricultural model. Llobet, whith more than 25 years of experience in the agro-industrial sector, holds an MBA from IESE Business School and is graduated from the Stanford Executive Program.

Veronica Irving

Veronica Irving is a motivated, customer-focused Senior Project Manager with more than 10 years of extensive clinical trial management and monitoring experience, exhibiting a successful track record of delivering global, Phase I-IV trials from feasibility to close out.

As a Senior Project Manager, Ms. Irving is currently responsible for leading the project team to ensure high quality, on budget, and on time project delivery in adherence with ICH-GCP and Standard Operating Procedures. Prior to working at Premier Research, Ms. Irving worked in various roles including spending time as a Project Manager, Clinical Team Manager, and Clinical Research Associate at PPD, part of Thermo Fischer Scientific.

Veronica has experience across multiple therapeutic areas, including experience in hematology and
oncology, allogenic and autologous cell therapy, and pediatric patient populations. Ms. Irving has
experience managing global trials including management and oversight of NA, EMEA, and APAC. Ms. Irving
also has experience with vendor management and oversight.

Veronica holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Research and Minor in Psychology from the
University of North Carolina, Wilmington, NC where she also received the Clinical Research Excellence
Award.

Thomas Kampen

Thomas Kampen is Sales Director for Beverage Packaging at Novelis Europe, where he drives commercial strategy, sales growth, and customer partnerships. Building on his experience as Strategy & Sustainability Director, he continues to advance circularity and decarbonization across the aluminium beverage can industry, reinforcing its position as a benchmark for sustainable packaging.

Thomas joined Novelis in 2015 in the Aerospace segment and previously held product management and sales roles at SGL Carbon. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hochschule Augsburg and an MBA from the University of Augsburg and the University of Pittsburgh.

Orianna Bretschger

Orianna Bretschger received a B.S. in Physics and Astronomy at the University of Northern Arizona; and after a career in aerospace and government consulting, she completed a Ph.D. in Materials Science at the University of Southern California. Bretschger launched Aquacycl with her partners after 12 years of technological development and validation. Dr. Bretschger is a 2021 Cartier Women’s Initiative Science and Technology Pioneer Laureate, a 2019 Fellow in the National Academy of Sciences New Voices in Science, Engineering and Medicine Program, a 2022 Unreasonable Fellow, and Aquacycl was a Finalist for the 2023 Earthshot Prize for their work to decarbonize wastewater treatment.

Aquacycl was founded in November 2016 and the company provides industrial wastewater treatment as a service to help companies support healthy watersheds and communities world-wide with offices in the United States and Aquacycl Europe B.V. in the Netherlands. Aquacycl technologies and services guarantee permit compliance, greenhouse gas mitigation, reliable performance in variable production environments, and operational savings. Customers served by Aquacycl, including PepsiCo, have realized up to a 30% reduction in wastewater management costs and over 100 tons of greenhouse gas emissions mitigated per month.

Tiphaine Aries

Tiphaine is an Associate Director within the Carbon Trust’s Business Services team. She provides advice to corporates in the Agriculture Food and Drink sector with a key focus on the Livestock and Dairy subsectors whilst also supporting global food and drinks brands. Tiphaine specialises in advising on footprinting, target setting and transition planning within the sector, as well as leading the Carbon Trust’s Product Carbon Footprint Label offering.

Kaitlin Guarasci

Kaitlin has been with Oximio BARL Canada for more than 10 years. As Managing Director, she oversees the planning, direction, and management of operations, while also guiding the organization’s strategic vision and future growth.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Brock University, a Pharmacy Technician Diploma from Niagara College, and an MBA from Athabasca University. With this diverse academic background, Kaitlin ensures that operations run compliantly, efficiently, and with customer care at the forefront.
