Scott Dixon

Scott Dixon has spent his entire career in the life sciences technology industry, holding senior leadership positions at companies including ERT, Oracle, Phase Forward, WebMD, and Parexel. As Senior Vice President of Strategy and Patient-centric Solutions, Dixon leads the execution of product strategy with an increasing focus on technology and solutions that supports decentralized and hybrid trials. Prior to this role, Dixon acted as Senior Vice President of Product Strategy, overseeing Suvoda’s product roadmap and vision while leading the teams responsible for product management and marketing. Dixon is a versatile leader with a proven track record in consistently delivering new product and market strategies for start-ups and Fortune 100 companies in the life sciences and healthcare software application industry.

Piotr Lipiec

Piotr has been described by those that have worked with him as a great professional, dedicated, a positive innovator and out-of-box thinker. After spending 5 years at LG, he moved to Samsung as the European Business Development Manager for the hospitality sector. He has volunteered on various advisory councils and worked with the biggest hotel chains in the world.

Marie McCarthy

Marie has over 20 years’ experience working in the area of medical devices and in-vitro diagnostics.  Her focus for that last 11 years has been the use of wearables and sensors to generate digital endpoints in clinical trials

She has been with ICON for five years working as a Subject Matter Expert in the deployment and use of wearables and sensors in clinical trials. As part of the ICON innovation team she provides insight into outcomes addressed by wearable technology and has designed and led a number of pilot projects focusing on the use of mHealth technologies in redesigning the clinical trial.

Marie has presented at a number of Industry and Scientific Conferences, is a member of a number of industry panels including DIA wearables workstream and DIME and is a co-leads one of the MobliseD work packages and has authored over 50 publications on the use and implementation of wearables in clinical trials.  Marie has an MSc and an MBA.

Megan Morrison

Megan is based out of Australia and is an industry leader in Asia-Pacific with 20 years’ experience working clinical trials in the region. She has held roles at big pharma, large global CROs, local CROs, and is currently vice president, commercial strategy lead, Asia-Pacific at Worldwide Clinical Trials. Megan has worked with countless sponsors to help them operationalize their studies and navigate the nuances of the Asia-Pacific region.
