Oliver Weinmann is Managing Director of Vattenfall Europe Innovation GmbH. The subsidiary of Vattenfall GmbH focuses on business development, mainly related to renewable energies. He studied Process Engineering at the RWTH Aachen, followed by a PhD on Solar Thermal Power Plants at DLR in Cologne. In 1992 he started his career at HEW in Hamburg and changed to Vattenfall in 2003 as Head of Innovation Management. In parallel, between 2004 and 2007, he was Managing Director of Vattenfall Renewables GmbH. In 2010 he was appointed as Managing Director of Vattenfall Europe Innovation GmbH.

Sheila Hollis is the Acting Executive Director of the United States Energy Association. Prior to her appointment in August 2020, Hollis had served as USEA Chairman since June 2019. Hollis is of-Counsel with the firm Duane Morris LLP, served on its executive committee, and was managing partner and is Chair of the Washington, D.C. office. She specializes in energy and environmental law and policy, domestically and internationally.

She was the first woman president of the Federal Energy Bar Association (EBA), chaired the Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources of the American Bar Association (ABA), and serves on the ABA Board of Governors. Hollis is the first energy lawyer to be honored as one of the Top 100 Lawyers and Top 50 Women Lawyers in Washington, D.C. by Super Lawyers.

She serves on the board of the American Friends of the Royal Society and holds several other honorary positions. She is an honorary North American member of the Commercial Bar of England and Wales. Hollis is a Fellow of the American College of Environmental Law and has received multiple honors and awards, including lifetime achievement awards from Platts Energy in 2011 and the Petroleum Economist in 2018.

A Colorado native, Sheila is a graduate of the University of Colorado in Boulder. She graduated cum laude in general studies and with honors in journalism. She received her J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law, and studied international law at Exeter University in Exeter, England.

Fiona has worked within the Life Sciences and Healthcare domain for over 25 years working across GxP areas within the private and public sector environments.

Fiona is currently a Senior Director at Medidata with a focus on quality management and general regulatory compliance and advocacy on topics within the good clinical practice domain.

Over the past few years she has been chairing a number of trade association groups on topics such as new technologies in clinical trials, decentrialised clinical trials and a contributor to EU Artificial Intelligence initiatives.

Prior to Medidata Fiona was a Director at Deloitte, where she led the Deloitte Global Centre for Regulatory Excellence for Life Sciences and provided governance of Deloitte services to the European Medicines Agency and their programmes.

Fiona has a BSc in Chemistry and Management Science and an MSc in Chemistry

Lewis co-founded Eigen Technologies in late 2014. Having started his career as a consultant at McKinsey & Company in London, he then founded and led the Quantitative Finance & Strategies Division for Aleron Partners LLP, a boutique private equity advisory firm. He is also a former Senior Advisor to Linklaters LLP, where he co-founded the Tactical Opportunities Group, a deal origination team.

Lewis holds a Doctorate in Atomic & Laser Physics from the University of Oxford. During his studies at Oxford, Lewis invented a new class of X-ray laser, and the mathematics behind this invention was later abstracted into Eigen’s core technology. Lewis received Harvard’s first Joint Bachelors in Fine Arts and Physics, as well as a Masters in Theoretical Physics, during which he conducted antihydrogen research at CERN.

He is currently one of the top managers in charge of the design, strategy and value proposition of Nuance’s Intelligent Engagement business which promotes the best practices in AI and Machine Learning to the world of Customer Experience.

Adam works with MediPharm Labs as Head of Strategic Accounts (Asia Pacific). Prior to joining MediPharm Labs, Adam spent almost a decade building various B2B businesses within education, investment, and medicinal cannabis, with progressive roles including business development, strategy, product development and project management. He has consulted private and listed cannabis producers and ancillary businesses since 2015, as one of the early entrants and experts in the burgeoning Australian cannabis industry. Adam founded and currently sits on the board of The Medical Cannabis Council, Australia’s largest not-for-profit industry body. He is a frequent public speaker and publishes a widely read industry newsletter. Adam earned a Bachelor of Entrepreneurship from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
