Darryn has over 40 years of government, business, technical and engineering experience working on mining operations, projects and strategy on across the world. For the past decade he has focussed on highlighting mining’s role in delivering the global energy transition on schedule with minimal harm to peoples and the environment.  This has involved having an active role leading the development of countries’ critical minerals strategies and free trade agreements to the development of satellite monitoring technology capable identifying and measuring tailings dam movement.

Alex is the CEO of Deep Sky, where she leads the deployment of breakthrough carbon removal technologies across a growing portfolio of commercial sites. She oversees all aspects of engineering, procurement, construction, and operations, working end-to-end — from facility design and cost optimization to full-scale execution. Under her leadership, Deep Sky’s teams collaborate across financing, sales, power, and storage to accelerate the company’s climate impact. Previously, Alex was COO at Bird, advancing micromobility across North America. She has also held roles at BlackRock in financial markets, at Accenture as an energy consultant, and in public service at the Treasury Board and the Embassy of Canada.

Clarice Brambilla is an analyst in GlobalData’s Energy Transition research division. With experience working in renewables with an Indian start-up company, as well as having completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Law at BPP, Clarice is passionate about analyzing technologies and policies intended to have a positive impact on the environment.

James McAreavey is the Global Head of CCUS at Xodus, with 30 years of experience in the energy industry, including over 15 years actively working in CCUS. James and the team at Xodus provide key advice to developers, governments, and other stakeholders in CCUS across all stages of the value chain from capture through to final storage or utilisation.

As CEO of Precision Impulse, Will Davie is leading the development of the world’s leading technology capable of accurately imaging the earth’s subsurface for the purposes of CO2 storage monitoring, mineral and primary energy exploration and extraction applications. The company’s seismic source dramatically improves the visualisation of the subsurface both on land and offshore.

During a career spanning more than 4 decades, Will Davie became one of the world’s leading experts on the energy industry, its technologies and their impact on the global economy and CO2 emissions. Over 25 years spent with SLB, he held field and management positions throughout Africa, Europe, North America and East Asia, and was appointed as the company’s first Group Chief Economist, VP of Knowledge Strategy and global account director for BP and BG. He has served as a primary author and expert reviewer of World Energy Outlooks at the International Energy Agency and an industry advisor at closed meetings of OPEC

Tom Cleghorn is a senior category and strategy professional with over 15 years’ experience in the global beverage industry, spanning premium wine, beer, and flavours with companies including Asahi UK and Treasury Wine Estates. He now leads European beverage category development at Synergy Flavours, partnering with customers to identify growth opportunities and support successful new product development.
