Tracy MacNeal is an engineer, healthcare entrepreneur, and MedTech investor. She is CEO of Materna Medical, a Series B startup focused on transforming the standard of care in women’s pelvic health. As an investor in Portfolia’s FirstStep fund, she supports the commercialization of high-growth segments typically undervalued and overlooked by traditional investing approaches. Tracy serves as the national Chair of Advamed’s Women’s Executive Network, connecting and amplifying the top women leaders in the MedTech industry. She previously served as President of Diagnostics and Digital Health for Ximedica, held by SV Life Sciences, a private equity healthcare firm, after serving in Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Financial Officer roles at two successful medical devices companies. Tracy received a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering with full scholarship at the Cooper Union in New York City and an MBA from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business, graduating summa cum laude as a Fuqua Scholar.
Ewan is an Assistant Vice President covering EU Beverages with over 6 years’ experience in the Financial & Manufacturing industries. Ewan joined European Staples in 2017 covering large cap Food & HPC and was ultimately lead analyst on the sectors before switching to Beverages. Prior to joining Equity Research Ewan worked on the UK strategy team for Barclays Corporate & Investment bank and was also an analyst in FIG. Ivan Androcec is working in the Croatian Electricity Utility (Hrvatska Elektroprivreda d.d.) since 2001 where he is currently Section Head of Investment Strategy and New Technologies in Strategy and Development Department. He is also president of supervisory board of LNG Croatia Ltd. He has PhD from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb, from 2012 as well as Diploma Study in Management from 2006. Part of PhD was on SINTEF Energy Research, NTNU Trondheim, Norway. His main interest are strategic and investment planning, energy market, business development, energy and investment project development. He was involved in several energy projects and teams, study works and analysis. He has written more than 50 R&D international and domestic papers and participated in many energy conferences, seminars, panels and as speaker. He is also involved as external associate on Faculties on subjects from energy field.
As Senior Market Development Analyst I’m responsible for market development activities in Europe. Through power system optimisation I’m showing the value of flexibility in power systems and how to integrate renewable energy sources. I am also conducting feasibility studies for specific projects and advising on modelling related issues.
