Paul Frary

Paul joined British Rail in 1992 having previously served as an engineer in the UK Military. Paul worked in maintenance, design and build and commission of rolling stock for various UK train operators and manufacturers. In 2002 Paul joined Her Majesty’s Railway Inspectorate as an Engineering Inspector and contributed to both permissioning , safety case management and accident investigation. In 2008 Paul worked on the TSIs as part of the UK delegation with the ERA and continues to work closely with manufacturers and operators in the UK. Paul has also worked on the ERA/ANSF  Viareggio task force following the tragic incident in 2009 so has knowledge of how fire risk management is key and why these events are so important.
