Stephan Dietrich, AI Expert and Senior Data Scientist from the SmartStream Innovation Lab; has been with SmartStream since 2018 and has over 8 years of experience in AI, machine learning and business intelligence, especially within the financial sector. He is within the core AI team of the SmartStream Innovation Lab with the mission to develop state of the art AI solutions for the SmartStream customer base.

Stephan works closely with all teams to identify, prototype, implement and deliver new technologies to the SmartStream product range.

He holds a MSc in Business Informatics with a specialisation in e-commerce and knowledge-based systems from the University of Technology, Vienna.

Jason Maude is a coder, coach, and public speaker. He has over a decade’s experience working in the financial sector, primarily in creating and delivering software. He is passionate about explaining complex technical concepts to those who are convinced that they won’t be able to understand them. Jason is also host of the Starling Developer podcast which gives insider access into what goes on behind the curtain at a leading challenger bank.

Evangelos is an internationally renowned advisor and thought leader in the insurance industry. With his work, he pursues holistic, interdisciplinary and implementation-oriented approaches. Evangelos’ main focus lies on forward-looking market developments, digital ecosystems, omni-channel management and innovative business models. Evangelos is co-author of several publications and is a regular speaker at industry conferences and client events.

Annika Schröder has been working at UBS since July 2015. In her role, she is responsible for the Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence in Group Technology.

Prior to UBS, Annika was Head of Strategy & Innovation at DB Investment Services GmbH, bundling securities processing within Deutsche Bank.

Before moving into innovation, Annika worked in Investment Banking functions with Lazard and other banks in Frankfurt and London, advising Financial Institutions across Europe in M&A, restructurings and IPOs.
